Ula is the most beautiful river not only in south Lithuanian region Dzukija, but also in whole Lithuania. River Ula flows through Gudu wood, it's source is in Belarus, Pelesos localities, Ula flows into river Merkys near old village Mardasavas. Near it's sources Ula flows through wide grasslands, in the middle Ula moves in canyonic valley and flows through old villages hiden in Gudu wood. River Ula landscape reservation territory begins, thus kayaking in this river is regulated by Dzukijos national park direction. Lenght of Ula river is 84 kilometers.
River Ula is really perfect for kayaking: the water is a bit cold of many springs, the stream is strong, there are many meanders and unforgettable sights!

This route is usually chosen by beginners and those who are kaykaing with children. From Dubiciai to Krokslys Ula river flows through channel.
Dubiciai - Krokslys about 3 hours
Krokslys - Rudnia about 4 hours
One of the most unquiet sections: many break off trees, unforgettable sights and meanders, also you need to go through Ula lake.

Kasetos - Pauosupes about 1 hour
From Pauosupe village the territory of national park of Dzukija begins and for kayaking through this territory you need to buy and to have with you the allowance to kayak through Ula river (allowance cost is less than 2 EUR per day).
